On New Year's Eve, December 31st, 2017, this piece began as a live painting installation at an amazing gathering called "Nectar" in Vancouver. The vibrant community, playful and respectful atmosphere, and the incredible music, art and cacao treats enchanted us all night long.

This piece is inspired by childlike play, that innocent enjoyment of life, which gathering and celebrating in community can bring to our busy adult lives. Thank goodness for those colourful spaces, where expression flows freely and joyfully, in many forms!
